I specialise in hand-piped buttercream cakes and cupcakes, baked fresh from scratch, and offer a range of floral, decadent or elegant designs. Stunning custom cakes and cupcakes are available for birthdays, holidays, gifts, afternoon teas, corporate events, weddings, and many other special occasions. I use only the finest local ingredients so I can present my clients with a unique dessert that is as equally delicious as it is beautiful!

​About Sarina Harper, The Buttercream Artist

A self-taught baker and cake designer from the USA, I've enjoyed supplying cakes and cupcakes for a myriad of occasions over many years! While building on my techniques and perfecting my recipes, I quickly became the "go-to" person among friends and family for any occasion that required a cake - or simply whenever a craving would strike! 

 

Over the past year, I'm thrilled to have evolved my passion into a successful business here in England. I'm so thankful to have built a loyal customer base - from local clients to families and businesses across the world who love sending BSF to their friends and families in England!

I'm overjoyed to have caught the eye of BBC1 where I was selected to share the story behind Butter, Sugar, Flower and to showcase my array of unique cakes and cupcakes. I'm also proud to have won the London Cake off 2020, and to be interviewed and showcased in various features on Butter, Sugar, Flower.

My cake portfolio includes a variety of styles, however my signature designs are floral. Passionate about the great outdoors, I love drawing inspiration from Mother Nature's beauty. You can see examples of my work in my galleries.
