How do I place an order?

Please place your Signature cake, cupcakes and cupcake bouquet orders via our website's shop. We require 3 working days' notice for our signature cupcakes boxes and cupcakes bouquets, and 5 days' notice for our signature cakes. For custom and kid's orders, we require 10 working days' notice. Please submit a Custom Order Form here.

 

What do you charge for custom cakes and cupcakes?

Our custom and kid's cakes and cupcakes have the same base pricing as our signature collections; additional costs are from the design process to sourcing design elements for your special creation. Please submit a Custom Order Form here.

 

Once we receive your completed form, we will invoice you for your order. Complete payment for this must be made within 24 hours of receiving this final invoice.

Collection/Delivery

Butter, Sugar, Flower is based in Brockworth, Gloucester, Gloucestershire. You can collect your cakes and cupcake orders without charge. In addition, we offer local delivery to most areas of Gloucester and Cheltenham. Delivery is calculated at checkout. For delivery beyond these locations, we offer delivery up to 15 miles outside of GL35AE at the rate of £2 per mile, minimum order total £70. Please email us for a quote. We do not post our products at this time.

 

Collection Times

You can collect your cake and cupcake orders for free Monday - Friday between 11am - 4pm. Prior to adding each product to your cake trolly, please specify what date and time you plan to collect. If you need to collect outside these hours, please contact us and we'll try to accommodate as best as we can.

Delivery Times

Hand deliveries can be made Monday - Friday between 11am - 4pm. Prior to adding each product to your cake trolly, please specify what date you'd like your order delivered. Delivery fees are based upon location; please proceed to checkout and enter your postcode for delivery options.

 

Do you offer nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free cakes?

No, we do not offer nut-free, gluten-free, dairy-free, or egg-free cakes.

How much notice should I give you to place an order?

  • For all of our signature cupcake boxes and cupcake bouquets, 3 business days notice is required (if ordering on a Friday, the earliest your order would be ready would be the upcoming Wednesday).

  • For all of our signature cakes, 5 business days' notice are required (if ordering on a Friday, the earliest your cake would be ready would be the following Friday).

  • For all custom and kid's cupcakes and cakes, we require a minimum of 10 working days' notice (M-F) to be sure we can source any additional design elements for your theme.

How long do your products stay delicious for?

Our products are baked fresh and free from any preservatives. Buttercream cakes will taste great for seven days after collection and are perfectly fine stored airtight on your countertop. During warmer months, refrigerate your cake - but remember to take it out 2 hours prior to enjoying for the best taste and texture. For cupcakes, remove them from the refrigerator one hour prior.

 

How can I pay for my order? 

We require advance payment for all orders. We offer secure checkout on our website's shop where you can pay via credit card. If you'd like to pay via bank transfer, please email us and we can invoice you for your order instead. A bank transfer must be made within 24 hours of issuing the quote to secure your order. For all custom orders, we will invoice you once your form has been received. Payment can be made via bank transfer or online securely via credit card.

 

Is Butter, Sugar, Flower certified?

Yes, Butter, Sugar, Flower is fully insured, holds a Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate, and is completely registered with the local authority.

 

Cancellation Policies

  • For all custom orders, should you need to cancel please notify us via email 10 days prior to your event for a 50% refund. For notice less than that, we do not offer any refunds.

  • For all of our signature cupcake boxes and cupcake bouquets, you may cancel your order within 3 days of placing the order, however, this must be a minimum of 7 days before the arranged delivery date. For notice less than that, we do not offer any refunds.

  • Should you need to cancel your monthly cupcake subscription, cancellations can be made after 4 months from the original subscription purchase date, however, this must be a minimum of 7 days before the arranged upcoming monthly collection day, otherwise, your subscription shall terminate the following month.
